Fees include all expenses as well as travel up to a 100-mile round-trip from Simon’s base in Lichfield, Staffordshire.  Additional mileage is charged at 75p-per-mile so, for example, a  200-mile round trip would cost £75*.  Simon uses the Ethical Transport Association’s Route Finder to calculate mileage.  For very long journeys/late finishes there may be an additional charge to cover overnight accommodation.
Simon has all his own equipment.  He requires space approximately 7ft x 7ft (2m x 2m) in which to set up with access to at least one mains electricity socket.  He will arrive at the venue one hour before the agreed start time to begin setting up and sound checking.  An earlier set-up is possible with a “waiting fee” of £50 per hour payable in such circumstances.  During breaks Simon plays music from the 20s and 30s to maintain the atmosphere.

Simon’s minimum fee is £300 for up to one hour.  Each additional half-hour costs £100. Here are some typical timings and fees:
1 HOUR (1 x 60 minute set without breaks) - £300 2 HOURS (2 x 50 minute sets + 1 x 20 min break) - £500 3 HOURS (3 x 50 minute sets + 2 x 15 min breaks) - £700
